SARLAHI, Feb 23: The first Lalbandi Mahotsav (fair) has started at Radhakrishna stadium in Lalbandi Municipality, Sarlahi. The fair is aimed at promoting the local market and enhancing tourism. The fair will continue until March 5.
Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Madhesh Province, Sunita Yadav, inaugurated the fair on Thursday.
Second edition of Teej Mahotsav begins
Business activities, musical and cultural events, local cuisines, sports activities and many others would be performed in the fair.
In the inaugural session, mayor of Lalbandi Municipality Basudev Adhikari, Chief District Officer of Sarlahi, Komal Prasad Dhamala, chairman of Lalbandi Chambers of Commerce and Industry Dipendra Balampaki and others were present.
The fair has dozens of stalls of agricultural and other products for exhibition and business.
