DHUNCHE (Rasuwa), Oct 15: The number of tourists visiting the popular tourist destination in the country, Langtang-Gosaikunda hinterland, is increasing notably these days.
According to officiating Chief Conservation Officer of the Langtang National Park, Office, Keshav Raj Bhetwal, over 1,500 visitors have visited the area so far since the beginning of current fiscal year adding that over 50 people daily visit here. The number is markedly higher than previous years.
Visitors to Gorkha Museum On The Rise
Over Rs 5.3 million has been collected as the entrance fee from the visiting tourists. The number of tourists visiting the region is gaining impetus following the destructive earthquake which struck on April 25, 2015, Bhetuwal added.
Here based Narayan Dal battalion of Nepal Army has managed the quick check up service to the visitors at entry point, Dhunche which has pleased the visitors.
