Locals said Batu Bhul, 55, and Sangita Saud of the village died of the disease.
But chief of the Kailali District Public Health Office Harishchandra Saha said he has received no information about the deaths.
Locals said people in flood-affected VDCs like Dhansinghpur, Narayanpur, Bhajani, Khailad, Lalbojhi and Joshipur have been suffering from viral fever.
