DOLPA, Sept 23: The whole village including the chairman does not have any documentation regarding the details of their land.
Karma Singh Thapa, ward-1 chairman, of Galli village does not have a document comprising his land details.
Land fraud case: seven including ward chair arrested
Twenty villagers of Galli village including Karma Singh Thapa, Karna Bahadur Thapa, Bhairab Shahi, Bhim Bahadur Shahi, Krishna Raj Shahi, Damber Kathayat, Narsingh Kathayat, Hiru Bahadur Kathayat, Sankha Bir Kulal, Nanda Singh Thapa, Hari Kulal and Sukbir Shahi does not have any document illustrating land details.
During mapping on 1994/95 AD, priests of Shree Bala Tripura Sundari Bhagwati Temple had cheated on the villagers making all the land in the name of the temple, said the locals of Galli village. They further added that only two land plots, (plot 123 and plot 173) were to be under the name of the temple while, they cheated and made the whole village land under the name of the temple.
Villagers of Galli village and the chairman have submitted an application to Tripura Sundari municipality for necessary amendments regarding the land documentation.
