KATHMANDU, July 13: Pho 99 Restaurant, a Vietnamese eatery, has started its operation in Lazimpat, Kathmandu.
The restaurant will be selling Vietnamese recipes through the outlet. Since 2011, the restaurant has been operating its two outlets in Bouddha of Kathmandu and Jhamsikhel of Lalitpur.

Inaugurating the restaurant on Thursday, Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, Vietnam’s honorary consul to Nepal, said the restaurant will serve the tourists who wish to enjoy recipes from different countries.
The restaurant’s proprietor Nabin Saru said Vietnamese dishes are popular for being less oily, less spicy and use of the local herbs like lemongrass, basil, mint, ginger and cilantro, among others. According to him, the restaurant will serve the popular Vietnamese dishes like ‘Vietnami Grill Fish with LemonGrass,’ noodles, ice tea, hot coffee and coconut milk, among others.
