Issuing a message on the occasion, he said, “This day inspires us to move forward together to end poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, and discrimination while safeguarding federalism, inclusion, proportional representation, and the rule of law enshrined in the Constitution. To strengthen democracy, it is necessary for political parties, leaders, and citizens alike to adopt ideal conduct, positive thinking, and responsible behavior.”
The Vice President stressed that all concerned must honestly fulfill their responsibilities to protect citizens’ rights, ensure equal opportunities, build an equitable society based on social justice, and strengthen the federal democratic republic.
