CHITWAN, APRIL 14: Vehicular movement obstructed by a small-scale landslide that took place at Charkilo along Narayangadh-Muglin road section on Friday morning has resumed after the blocked road was cleared.

The vehicles that were in a jam after the landslide that occurred along Narayangadh-Muglin road section early morning on Friday blocked the road have started moving, Area Police, Muglin told Republica Online.

“Small scale landslides have been common for the last few days. However, since they are of small scale, we have been able to clear obstructed part of the road to make vehicular movement possible after a relatively shorter period of time”, said Shiba Khanal, an engineer at Narayangadh-Muglin Road Project(NMRP).

Earlier, two persons were killed and many others sustained severe injuries in the large scale landslide that took place along Narayangadh-Muglin road section two weeks ago.
