Vehicular movement along Mugling-Narayanghat road resumes

CHITWAN, July 6:
The Mugling-Narayanghat road section which was blocked due to a landslide this morning has come into operation after clearing the landslide.

Area Police Office, Mugling, said that the two-way traffic has resumed from 11:00 am.



Hundreds of vehicles stranded on the way due to the landslide have headed to their destinations. Vehicles plying towards Pokhara and Kathmandu from here were stranded on the way due to the landslide. [break]



It took nearly the entire morning to clear the landslide as stones also had fallen along with the clay mud covering nearly 100 meters part of the road, Chitwan Police said.



The landslide was cleared with the help from a dozer from Road Division Office, Bharatpur.
