DANG, Sept 18: Traffic along Dang section of East-West Highway could not resume until Saturday afternoon.

Vehicular movement has remained here disrupted since Friday evening after a landslide fell on the road in Dhankhola of Dang, stranding hundreds of vehicles and thousands of passengers heading to different destinations on the highway.

Buses coming from East have been stranded at Dhankhola and those heading to different parts of the country from mid-and far-west have queued up at Lamahi and Bhalubang.

Bhalubang Area Police Office said efforts to remove landslide debris have met with resistance following the continuous occurrence of landslide due to incessant rainfall.
