According to the Sindhupalchowk District Police Office, VDC Secretary Niraula had recommended Tibetan Bhawana Tamang as the resident of Gunsa VDC-4 in the district. Based on his recommendation, Assistant Chief District Officer Omkar Prasad Neupane had provided the Nepali citizenship to Tamang on June 17, 2012.
The police also apprehended Maila Tamang from Gunsa VDC for testifying as father of Bhawana Tamang. However, Prem Lama who impersonated as Bhawana´s brother has been absconding.
