KATHMANDU, Dec 17: The Kathmandu Valley has recorded the lowest air temperature of this year.
According to a latest data from the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, the air temperature of the Valley was recorded at 2.3 degree Celsius on Thursday morning.
The temperature is expected to reach the maximum of 17 to 19 degree Celsius in the Valley today.
Similarly, Western Terai witnessed thick fog and mist this morning whereas Eastern Terai, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces had comparatively thinner fog and mist.
Road and air travel are expected to be challenging due to poor visibility.
The Valley had recorded a temperature of 2.8 degree Celsius on Wednesday, 3 degree Celsius on Tuesday and 4 degree Celcious on Monday.
