KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): United Telecom Limited (UTL) has launched a special unlimited data pack valid for 56 days. Issuing a press release, UTL said the data pack has been introduced as a festive pack and customers can use unlimited Internet at Rs 250. The offer begins from September 1 and is available till September 25. Customers, however, have to buy new data SIM to use the service. "Customers purchasing data pack SIM on the first day of the launching will be able to use the unlimited service for 56 days, while those buying data pack service on last day i.e. September 25 will get only 32 days to use the unlimited pack. "Once the offer period ends, the data SIM pack is automatically converted into normal Internet package and customers will have to pay Rs 565 per month to resume the normal Internet service," the release added.
