KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Newly appointed US Chargé d’Affaires to Nepal Megan Bouldin paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.
During the meeting, Bouldin paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the Bhotekoshi flood and expressed the US government’s solidarity with the Government of Nepal and the Nepali people during the difficult time.
She said the US government was ready to support Nepal in its relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts following the disaster.

Minister Khanal expressed gratitude to the US government and people for their solidarity and support for Nepal during the difficult period.
He also expressed confidence that the US government would continue its support through the relief and rehabilitation phases and into reconstruction.
