He died while undergoing treatment at Lucknow Hospital in India. He had been suffering from paralysis for long.
Faruki, a resident of Nepalgunj Municipality-4, had dedicated around four decades of his life to Urdu literature.
He was buried at a local graveyard as per Muslim traditions.
