Update: Death toll in Achham tractor accident rises to five

DHANGADHI, March 25: The death toll in the tractor accident in Achham this morning has reached five. The people were injured in the accident.

According to Police Inspector Arjun Saud of the District Police Office, Achham, five people died when a tractor (Sudurpaschim Province 01 002 Ta 4979) crashed in Mellekh Rural Municipality Monday morning. The deceased have been identified as Ranga Dhami, 55, Janak Dhami, 15, Prem Dhami, 45, Nar Bahadur Dhami, 37 and Janak Dhami, 21 of Mellekh-1.

According to Inspector Saud, three other people were seriously injured in the accident.

The injured have been taken to Byalpata Hospital for treatment.
