KATHMANDU, Feb 10: The CPN (United Socialist) is going to send provincial assembly member Naresh Shahi to the Sudurpaschim Provincial government.
A leader of the party said that there was an agreement to send Shahi, elected from Bajura, to the government.
Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah will appoint him as a minister after taking the oath of office and secrecy on Friday. Unified Socialists have claimed the Ministry of Economic Affairs. But Chief Minister Shah is currently discussing whether to appoint a department or make a minister without a department.
The Nepali Congress has called a parliamentary party meeting to take a decision on the minister. A Member of Parliament said that the name of the ministers will be finalized in a meeting to be held at the office of the Provincial Assembly Parliamentary Party.
According to him, there is a possibility that a decision will be made to make Prakash Bahadur Deuba a minister. NC has prepared to send only one person to the government as of now.
Shah, who was appointed as the chief minister on Thursday, will take the oath of office and secrecy from provincial chief Devraj Joshi today at 3:30 pm. Soon after that, two ministers will also take the oath of office and secrecy.
