KATHMANDU, March 1: A meeting of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Secretariat has started.
The secretariat meeting of the party started at the party's central office in Alok Nagar, Kathmandu, to discuss the latest political situation in the country including the presidential election.
In the meeting, it is said that the party, which has joined the 8-party alliance with Nepali Congress to support NC candidate for the presidency, Ramchandra Paudel, will also discuss its stake in the government.
Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has been of the opinion that it is necessary to have the participation of UML in the government.
