KATHMANDU, April 10: Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepa (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the wave of people in favor of his party is increasing.

Addressing a mass gathering organized by the CPN (Unified Socialist) in Kathmandu on Saturday, Chairman Nepal made such a claim. He argued that his party is stronger than UML in the far west, Karnali and Madhesh provinces.

While criticising CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli, Chairman Nepal said that others would only talk but he would work. "Show it by working rather than talking. This helps you earn people's trust," Nepal said. He said that there is a wave of people in favor of the Unified Socialist.

"Our party has created a new wave of ideas in the society, which has alarmed the opposition," Nepal said. "We have set a new example in thought and practice. Let's move forward with confidence. This is the future of our party. This is the future of this party.”

Saying that frustrated people cannot do better, Chairman Nepal urged the leaders and activists to move forward with courage. "Let the chatterbox talk, let him insult others. We have to show it by working. We will move forward in the transformation of the country with honesty and integrity,” he said. He said that there is a wave of people leaving other parties and joining CPN-Unified Socialist in the district.

“Only yesterday, people like chartered accountants and senior advocates joined our party in Kathmandu. The atmosphere from Itahari to Sarlahi and Bara in the east is also in our favor,” he said.
