DHARAN, May 26: An unidentified group shot an employee of Dharan-based microfinance and robbed of around Rs 400,000 on Sunday afternoon.
The incident took place when the unidentified group shot Shambhu Gachchadar, the marketing representative of Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Sanstha, and looted the cash when he was returning to his office, according to police.
Gachhadar, who received two bullets, has been undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
A team of police led by DSP Dhundiraj Neupane has reached the incident site following the incident.
