DANG, July 3: CPN-UML has won both mayoral and deputy mayoral posts in Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City.
According to the latest vote count update, UML candidate Naru Lal Chaudhary has been elected as the mayor of the Sub-metropolitan City with 22,030 votes. His closest rival of Nepali Congress Bhup Bahadur Dandi got 17,484 votes.
Similarly, Jiwan Gautam of CPN (Maoist Center) got 12, 082 votes.
Similarly, UML candidate Sita Neupane has been elected as deputy mayor. She secured 20,792 votes. Her closest rival of Nepali Congress Pushpa Shrestha got 17, 603 votes.
Likewise, Maoist Center candidate got 12, 824 votes.
