UML victorious in Hetauda

HETAUDA, May 24: CPN-UML has kept its brilliant form going as Hari Bahadur Mahat clinched the mayoral post in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City in the first phase of ongoing local elections.

HETAUDA, May 24: CPN-UML has kept its brilliant form going as Hari Bahadur Mahat clinched the mayoral post in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City in the first phase of ongoing local elections. 



Mahat garnered 23,124 votes beating Ananda Ram Parajuli of Nepali Congress who got 22,509.



Whereas for the deputy-mayor post, Mina Lama of UML garnered 23,437 votes defeating Balram Bal of CPN (Maoist Center) who got 17, 011 votes.
