KATHMANDU, Dec 15: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has accused CPN-UML of trying to push the country toward instability.
In a recent Facebook post, Poudel wrote, “After dissolving parliament twice in a span of six months, the UML has been trying to prove that the dissolution of parliament was justified by obstructing parliament for months and is trying to push the country toward instability.”

Leader Poudel said, “If the government that came to run parliament and seek all the ways out from parliament does not make a meaningful effort to give the country a democratic momentum by making parliament function smoothly, then it will be considered as surrendering to Oli.
“I draw the attention of the general public to be aware of these objectionable activities pushing the nation toward uncertainty. This is a conspiracy to overwhelm the country. It seems the UML is trying to end the inclusive parliamentary system,” he further added.
UML lawmakers have been continuously obstructing parliament, accusing Speaker Agni Sapkota of going against his duties.
