KATHMANDU, Feb 25: CPN-UML has decided to write letters to all other parties except Nepali Congress (NC) asking for support to elect Subash Chandra Nemwang as the new president.
After the Secretariat meeting held earlier today, Party’s Publicity Department Chief Prithvi Subba Gurung said that they have decided to write to parties other than NC today to support Nemwang as the presidential candidate.

“We have decided to make Subash Chandra Nemwang, our party's vice-chairman, former speaker and member of the Constituent Assembly, the presidential candidate. As the Nepali Congress has its own candidate, we have decided to write letters to all political parties to solicit their votes today,” he said.
