DHANGADHI, May 15: A meeting of the CPN-UML Sudurpaschim Parliamentary Party has decided to give a vote of confidence to Chief Minister (CM) Dirgha Bahadur Sodari but not to participate in the government immediately.
In the meeting held on Wednesday, chaired by provincial parliamentary party leader Rajendra Singh Rawal, it was decided to extend a vote of confidence to the CM.
Province Assembly member Dharma Raj Pathak said that a decision had been made to extend a vote of confidence to the CM but not to join the government immediately. He said that discussions with the ruling parties will be held to establish a common minimum program of the government.
CM Sodari is seeking the vote of confidence on Thursday. A meeting of the provincial assembly has been called for that at 10:30 in the morning.
