DANG, June 29: CPN-UML is taking the lead in two sub-metropolitan cities in Dang district. UML mayoral candidate Naru Lal Chaudhari is taking the lead with 107 votes, compared to 30 votes garnered by his closest rival Maoist Center mayoral candidate Jiban Gautam in Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City.
Vote count is under way in Ward-1 of Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City. Chaudhari is a resident of this ward.
Likewise, UML mayoral candidate Ghanashyam Pandey is leading Nepali Congress mayoral candidate Mahendra Giri in Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City . Pandey has garnered 118 votes while Giri has obtained 77votes. Likewise, Maoist Center candidate Sheshu Ram Bhandari has obtained 9 votes.
Vote count is underway in Ward-1 of Tulsopur Sub-metropolitcan City.
