UML submitted the letter to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal demanding the government address the suggestions received from the locals during the ‘Sankalpa Yatra’ held from November 30 to December 17.

A delegation led by UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli reached the PM’s residence in Baluwatar to deliver the attention letter

Talking to journalists after submitting the attention letter, CPN-UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali said that they have submitted 751 demands and suggestions related to 46 areas. He said that these suggestions have been submitted to the PM as the people's opinion and it is the government's duty to implement them.

According to Gyawali, PM Dahal said that those suggestions should not remain unused and that he would direct the relevant agencies for their implementation.

In the letter, recommendations include altering the alignment of the Mid-hill highway and addressing its development potential, among other topics. The UML has assigned the responsibility for implementing these changes to Vice Chairman Bishnu Paudel.
