SIMKOT, Jan 7: The ninth district convention of CPN (UML) Humla District Committee scheduled for today has been postponed.
The district convention has been postponed by a month as per the party’s central office's directive, secretary of CPN (UML) Humla, Purna Dhakal, said.
The UML is scheduled to organize the district committee conventions in most of the districts today.
A meeting of the UML Humla District Committee has also decided to hold its convention on February 6.
The CPN (UML) Humla District Committee said that unfavorable weather and ‘some intraparty issues’ led to the postponement of the district convention by a month.
