KATHMANDU, May 15: CPN UML candidate Ram Krishna Acharya won the position of ward chairman in ward number 6 of Mahankal Rural Municipality in Lalitpur district.

According to Office of Chief Returning Officer, vote count of Thula Durlung, the ward number 6 of Mahankal, is completed and Acharya garnered 361 votes while his nearest rival Babu Lal Shrestha of Nepali Congress received 273 votes.
