KATHMANDU, April 25: Keshav Sthapit and Sunita Dangol, who have been nominated for the post of mayor and deputy mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) by the CPN-UML, have registered nominations for the posts today.
They registered their candidature at the office of the Chief Election Officer in Kathmandu.
Sthapit is a Member of Bagmati Province Assembly and a former Minister for Physical Infrastructure of Bagmati Province. Similarly, Dangol is a former Miss Newa and youth leader of the UML.
