UML Chairman Oli elected unopposed as PP leader

KATHMANDU, Dec 21: CPN-UML Chairman K P Oli has been elected unopposed as the party’s Parliamentary Party (PP) leader.

While Vice Chairman Bishnu Poudel proposed Oli’s name as the party’s PP leader, another Vice Chairman Subash Nembang had seconded the proposal. Oli was elected as the UML’s PP leader unopposed as no other leaders in the party challenged his bid.

The UML’s PP meeting held at Nepal Academy Hall in Kamaladi, Kathmandu, had thanked all the voters who made the party number 1 in terms of popular votes.
