KATHMANDU, Feb 22: The Central Committee (CC) meeting of the CPN-UML is taking place today as well. In the meeting, the team leaders will present the outcomes of the group discussions held on Wednesday.
The focus will be on the concept and action plan presented during the seventh meeting at the central office, Chyasal in Lalitpur.
The UML engaged in collective discussions organized into nine groups to thoroughly examine the presented concept and formulate a comprehensive conclusion.
UML council meeting to continue today
During the discussion in the previous session, Senior Vice Chairman Ishwor Pokharel presented an action plan on party purification and strengthening, Vice Chairman Bishnu Paudel on the organizational principles of democratic centralism and a people-centric worker party, and General Secretary Shankar Pokharel on party organizational issues.
Likewise, Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali presented an action plan for managing public pressure.
The outcomes of these plans will be the subject of discussion among the nine groups today.
The UML has anticipated that the meeting would conclude today. Party chairman KP Oli will deliver his response following the presentation of the group’s summary report.
