KATHMANDU, Oct 8: CPN-UML and Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) have agreed on electoral synergy for the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives and the provincial assemblies slated for November 20.
UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav signed a memorandum of understanding to this effect last night.
According to the agreement, JSP will get 17 seats in the House of Representatives elections. JSP will help UML in 35 other seats.
