UDMF officially says four leaders visiting to India

KATHMANDU, Dec 5: Four senior leaders of Madhes-based parties of the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) have decided to visit to India on Sunday, UDMF said on Saturday.

Issuing a press statement, UDMF has said that leaders Upendra Yadav, Mahanta Thakur, Rajendra Mahato and Mahendra Rae Yadav are visiting to India to hold political parleys on burning Nepali issues with Indian political leaders."Morcha (UDMF) leaders Upendra Yadav, Mahanta Thakur, Rajendra Mahato and Mahendra Rae Yadav are scheduled to visit to India on Sunday to exchange ideas on current political ideas and situation of Nepal," the press statement reads.

Meanwhile, the UDMF has condemned 'police atrocity' on a peaceful mass meeting organized by the front at Nawalpur, Sarlahi on Thursday. The UDMF claimed that one woman was killed while 26 injured in the incident. It further states the condition of six injured are reported to be critical.

The UDMF has expressed serious concern on vandalism of Nepal Human Rights Commission vehicle at Nawalpur, Sarlahi.
