KATHMANDU, Dec 31: Udhyami Nepali is hosting ‘Udhyami Nepali Business Challenge 2021’ where participants can have the chance to secure up to Rs 1 million seed investment.

Issuing a statement on Thursday, the organization said that the program is being organized to foster problem-solving spirit among the young generation. “With the motto of ‘Solve Local, Impact Global’, the Udhyami Nepali Business Challenge 2021 aims to facilitate young change makers who are innovative and pragmatic enough to tackle the global problem with local solutions,” the statement reads.

The winning team will be receiving 3 months of supervision and mentorship from the domain experts to accelerate their solution’s execution.

“As we are guided by our mission of ‘Fostering Innovation & Entrepreneurship’, we are here to solve the problems that matter the most and have accordingly identified agro-business to be more important than ever in these unprecedented times of COVID-19,” the statement quoted Kailash Panday, advisor for Udhyami Nepali, as saying.

According to the organization, the challenge also focuses on creating valuable learning experiences for the young minds to be critical thinkers, cooperative team members and persuasive business advisors in response to the real business issues.

The challenge is open for anyone between the age of 18 and 35 emerging from any disciplines including Agriculture, Business or IT. Each team shall consist of 2-5 members with at least one female team member. The participants should submit their application business proposal by the midnight of January 7, 2021.
