Bhattrai, associated editor of Baruwa Times Dainik, was found dead on March 26 at Apgachhi Chowk of Itahari Sub Metropolitan City along the Itahari-Dharan road.Relatives and journalists claimed Bhattrai's case as a murder after the postmortem at BK Koirala B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
Federation of Nepalese Journalist (FNJ), Secretary Sachin Bhotraj Rai said that all the journalists of the district will be compelled to unveil further protest programs if the state could not identify the culprit and punish them according to law.
Inspector Khagendra Khadka at Itahari-based Area police office presumed that the incident is not the murder but just an accident considering the nature of the case.
