Chairman Dahal marked the beginning of the campaign at the party headquarters on Thursday by providing hammers to the youth members of the party. Chairman Dahal himself would lead the campaign, according to the information shared on the occasion.
"We have united for reconstruction. We would serve the people with unity like in the past movements," Chairman Dahal announced.
The UCPN (Maoist) leaders and cadres from across the country would be deployed in the 14 quake-affected districts for the reconstruction efforts. Dahal himself would be working in Sindhupalchowk district and the labour camp would be held for a week.
Party leaders Barshaman Pun, Agni Prasad Sapkota, Kali Bahadur Malla and Ramchandra Sharma among other cadres would be deployed in Sindhupalchowk district. Likewise, cadres from Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Rolpa and Myagdi as well as from all districts of Bheri and Karnali zones would be mobilized in the district.
Likewise, party senior leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Janardan Sharma and Hitram Pandey and other leaders would be mobilized for the reconstruction campaign in Gorkha district. Leaders from Dang, Banke, Bardiya, Kailali and Kanchanpur districts and representatives of the sister organizations would be working in Gorkha district.
Similarly, leaders Urmila Aryal and Ganeshman Pun would be working in Dolakha district under the leadership of Vice-chairman Narayankaji Shrestha.
Furthermore, a team under the command of party general secretary Krishna Bahadur Mahara would be mobilized in Kathmandu district. Leaders Nanda Kishor Pun, Devendra Poudel, Hisila Yami, Jhakku Prasad Subedi and other leaders and activists would take leadership in Kathmandu.
The UCPN (Maoist) said that Top Bahadur Rayamajhi in Dhading while Girirajmani Pokharel, Chakrapani Khanal (Baldev), Dilaram Acharya would be supporting the quake-survivors in Nuwakot district in the reconstruction works.
Likewise, Haribol Gajurel in Sindhuli, Nabraj Subedi in Rasuwa, Shakti Bahadur Basnet in Lalitpur, Lilamani Pokharel in Kavre and Ramchandra Jha would be leading the teams in Bhaktapur district.
According to the party, Bishwabhakta Dulal in Ramechhap, Suresh Kumar Rai in Solukhumbu, Tanka Angbuhang in Okhaldhunga while Narayan Dahal would lead the teams in Makawanpur district.
On the occasion, Chairman Dahal directed the party cadres to win the heart of quake-survivors in the real sense and offer relief to them.
Party general secretary Mahara said that more than 150,000 Maoist cadres would be deployed in the reconstruction campaign. RSS
