U.S Ambassador DeLisi calls on Gachchhadar

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: The U.S Ambassador to Nepal Scott H DeLisi on Friday called on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar at the latter’s office in Singhadurbar.



During the meeting, the duo discussed the issues related to peace process, constitution writing, and Bhutanese and Tibetan refugees residing in Nepal. [break]



At the meeting DeLisi said the U.S has taken the Maoist party’s move to handover the containers’ keys very positively, Gachchhadar told media persons following the meeting.



Gachchhadar said discussions were held regarding the U.S assistance for the strengthening of the Nepal Police and Armed Police Force.
