Typhoid outbreak in Makwanpur

BHIMPHEDI, Jan 4: Typhoid fever broke out with the rise in cold wave in various Village Development Committees (VDCs) and Hetauda municipality of Makawanpur for the past couples of days.



Daily 30-35 patients of typhoid visit Hetauda hospital for treatment while 30 patients are being admitted and treated, according to the hospital.



Infants, children and elderly people are mostly affected from typhoid in Makawanpur, informed Narsingh Maharjan of the hospital.
