Two persons dealing with arms made public in Biratnagar

BIRATNAGAR, Oct. 2: The District Police Office has made two persons, arrested on the charge of dealing with illegal weapons in Biratnagar Sub-Metropolis, public here on Wednesday.





They are Abdul Kadir, 26, of Pathadewa-2 in India and Arjun Sah, 32, of Sahebgunj-5 in Sunsari district. Police had arrested Abdul with an automatic pistol with magazine and a motorcycle (Ko 7 Pa 4801) used by him. [break]



Similarly, a special police team arrested Arjun with a loaded pistol and the motorcycle (Ko 13 Pa 7130) on Tuesday evening. Police arrested them red-handed while they were dealing with illegal weapons on the street.



Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Sunsari, Deepak Pokhrel, stressed that no criminals would be spared from the special team of police formed to control possible criminal activities during the election to the Constituent Assembly (CA).
