KATHMANDU, April 17: Two Nepal Airlines wide-body aircraft carrying medical supplies and equipment from Guangzhou, China landed at Tribhuvan International Airport on Friday morning.

The two planes of the national flag carrier arrived here carrying essential medical supplies and equipment at 7:00 am and 7:15 am.

Nepal is importing protective gears, testing kits, and other items from China to contain the spread of coronavirus. The wide-body planes had departed to Guangzhou from Kathmandu on Thursday evening.

Two business groups chartered the aircraft. Earlier in March, the NAC aircraft brought medical supplies on March 29 and April 2 from Chinese city of Guangzhou.
