BAITADI, Oct 24: Two people died in separate incidents in Baitadi district.
Ram Bahadur Chand, 32, of Patan Municipality-5 was found dead 200 meters below a cliff based in Kaddar along the Patan-Melauli road section.

Baitadi Police said Chand had left home on Monday for Kaddar and was found dead the following day. He might have fallen off the cliff, police said.
In a similar incident, Birsingh Bist, 40, of Kuni of Patan Municipality-4 died after falling off a cliff. Bista fell down from the Lisangad cliff near his house as he was on his way back home after observing a festival at the Ninglashaini temple in Dashrath Municipality-2. Severely injured Bista breathed his last while being taken to Dhangadhi for treatment, police said.
