Two killed in road mishap

ITAHARI,  May 15: Two people died when two passenger buses collided with each other at 3:00 am on Saturday morning along East-West Highway at Haripur of Sunsari.



Another passenger was seriously injured, said the East Regional Traffic Police Office, Itahari.[break]



Ronak Khatun, 7, and Mohammad Mehetak, 27, of Arariya of India died on-the-spot, whereas injured Mohammad Zia Ul Rahman, 30, is undergoing treatment at BPKIHS.



A bus with the Registration No. Na 3 Kha 2532 heading for west from Inaruwa and another bus Na 3 Kha 3879 heading for east from west had collided.



The latter bus was returning from a wedding ceremony in Janakpur and there were members of the wedding procession.



Meanwhile, the Kirant Workers Party has exploded bombs at Hansposa VDC building in Sunsari last night.



The office building has been damaged and all the documents were burnt, Police said.



The armed outfit exploded the bomb over donations, it is suspected.



However, it has not so far taken the responsibility of the explosion
