SURUNGA (Jhapa), Jan 5: Two persons were killed in a road accident at Charpane along the east-west highway in the district today, police said.

The accident took place when a Bolero (Me a Cha 3115) jeep heading to west from the east hit the bike (Me 3 Pa 4715) coming from opposite direction at the place.
The deceased have been identified as bike rider Arun Rajbanshi, 25, of Mahabhara-7 and pillion rider Lokhchan Rajbanshi, 29, of the same place, police added. According to police, the vehicle driver is arrested for further action. RSS
