JHAPA, Oct 17: Two persons were killed in a road accident at Kankai Municipality-2 along the East-West Highway in the district on Monday morning.
The accident took place when a bus, Ko 1 Kha 3596, heading to west from the east hit a motorbike, Me 5 Pa 3853, coming from the opposite direction, police said.

The deceased are Til Bikram Thebe, 57, and Agni Bhetwal, 60, of the same municipality-3. According to police. Thebe and Bhetwal were travelling on the bike.
Police have arrested the bus driver and impounded the vehicle. RSS
