Two killed in landslide

SURKHET: Two Nepali migrant workers who returned to Nepal after surviving devastating flood in Badrinath of India were buried to death on their way home. [break]



Jakte Biswokarma, 45, and Daljit Biswokarma, 40, of Rachuli village in Kalikot district, who were sleeping on the rooftop of one Bhakta Bahadur Malla´s house in Serighat off the Karnali highway, were crushed by a landslide Thursday morning. Buche Biswokarma from the same village was also buried under the debris but survived. He has been sent to Surkhet for treatment, according to Kalikot´s Chief District Officer (CDO) Jagat Basnet. Jakte, Daljit and Buche had gone to India to work. Four of their friends were swept away by a flood that claimed hundreds of lives in Badrinath.
