Two killed, 8 injured in truck accident

KATHMANDU, July 12: A mini-truck, Ba 3 Kha 189, headed toward Mahadevtar from Chauridanda plunged into river after its brakes failed, killing two people in Mahadevtar-9 of Kavre district.

According to the police, the deceased were identified as Kajiman Moktan, 30, and Thula Bam, 35, of Mahedevtar-8.

Eight others injured are receiving treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital.

Police have arrested the truck driver.
