POKHARA, Nov 26: Two persons were killed and 12 others were injured when a jeep met with an accident in the district on Saturday.
According to police, the jeep Ga 1 Cha 4589, that was carrying picnickers met with an accident at Pokhara-17, Dobilla causing the fatalities.
Police Inspector Mohanmani Adhikari said that the deceased are Arbind Chaudhary, 20, of Rautahat and Nisha Mahatra, 14, of Kolkata. All the injured are receiving treatment at hospital.

Jeep driver Bhola Bharati, 19, who was driving the jeep after consuming alcohol, has been arrested.
“The jeep met with the accident as the driver was intoxicated,” said Adhikari.
