JALESHWAR, Dec 16: The Armed Police Force (AFP) personnel arrested two Indian nationals in possession of three packets of marijuana, four packets of hashish and a set of knife at Mahottari district headquarters Jaleshwar on Thursday evening.
The arrestees have been identified as Aananda Kumar Dube aka 'Chotu Don' , 25, of Sursanda in Sitamadi district and 20-year-old Aashish Kumar Thakur of the same place in India, according to the APF, Mahottari.
A team of security personnel deployed from the AFP, Border Outpost at Malwara got hold of the two Indian nationals while they were trying to smuggle the contraband from India into Nepal.
The arrested Indian nationals have been handed over to the APF, Border Security Office at Mahottari along with the seized contraband for further investigation into the case. RSS
