Those injured in the mishap are 32-year-old Lal Singh Tamang of Balkhu, Nuwakot district who was driving the truck with registration number plate Na 4 Kha 7653 and his deputy 18-year-old Samir Kunwar of Bangesal, Pyuthan district.[break]
Another truck (Lu 1 Kha 7273) coming from the east hit it at Mahadevtar, Pipley VDC-6 at 2 a.m. today. The injured are being treated at the Purano Medical College at Bharatpur. Both the trucks have been impounded. Police said.
