The drug totaling 1.632 kg is worth nearly Rs 25 million in the black market.
Kul Bahadur Tamang, 39, of Dhading and Sharmila Tamang, 21, of Kanchanpur were arrested a week ago and it was found that they had hidden the heroin in capsules in their abdomen. The were taking the heroin of Afghan origin to Colombo, Sri Lanka.
